The Friends of Santa Cruz County Animals is a nonprofit 501C3 organization formed in 2003 by concerned citizens whose mission is to support the challenging work of the Santa Cruz County Animal Services.

This mission is carried out through education, fundraising, and the establishment of programs intended to benefit the animals in the care of SCCAS by providing "extras" which may not be available in the county budget. Our newest endeavor is the John S. Strauss Spay/Neuter program.
