The Friends of Santa Cruz County Animals is a nonprofit 501C3 organization whose mission is to support the challenging work of the Santa Cruz County Animal Services. Our focus during the last four years has been the implementation of the John S. Strauss Spay/Neuter program for qualifying low-income residents of Santa Cruz County.

Spay/Neuter Angel Program
Recently we have begun charging low-income families $40 for our formerly free spay/neuter vouchers to try to keep our program sustainable in these challenging economic times.

But with your help, we’d still like to be able to provide particularly needy applicants with FREE services. You can help by participating in our Spay/Neuter Angel Program!!!

For a $40 contribution, you can donate a FREE spay/neuter voucher in your name or in the name of a friend, family member or pet. This voucher will enable a deserving low-income recipient to spay a dog, cat or rabbit at no charge.

HOW DO I BECOME AN ANGEL?
Please use the "Donations Welcome!" button at the left to make your $40 PayPal donation. After you sign into your PayPal account, you will see a form with a live link that says “please use my donation for.” Be sure to enter “Spay/Neuter Angel Program” so that we know your intentions. We’ll send you a gift card to present to the person whom you choose to honor by donating this gift in their name.
